What first made you want to work in broadcast television? When I was a child, I used to play “QVC Host” with my Mom’s stereo speaker. I’d take her knick-knacks, put them on the speaker, and pretend I was the QVC host. When I was in high school, I went to a live television show in New York, and I saw the host, and I just loved it. I loved everything about it.

What do you enjoy about it? I love people. I love meeting people. And I love telling their stories and I feel like I can connect with most people. And they need their news, and I’m thrilled to give it to them.

What do you do to relax? For the past year and a half, I’ve been working a split shift, so I take a lot of naps. I also like to work out and take classes with other women. I go to Fab Fitness in Kingston. Besides that, I like to hang out with my family. We go camping.

Favorite music? I’m really into country right now, so I like everybody from Eric Church to Sam Hunt. I also like classic rock and I listen to Fleetwood Mac Radio. And I love Little Big Town. That was the best concert ever and it was right at the Bloomsburg Fair.

Favorite color? I love to wear back, but I wear too much of it and I think people enjoy seeing me in bright colors. I like red a lot. And of course I like pink. I like all of the colors.

First car? It was a silver Mercury Cougar. I think it was a 2001. I got in a really bad car accident in high school and that car was totaled. Somebody ran a red light and hit me. I had to wear a neck brace to high school and missed about a month of my senior year. That was tough.

Favorite city? I really have not been to a lot of places. I have never left the East Coast , so I guess I would say Philadelphia.

Favorite vacation spot? Ocean City, Maryland. That’s where we typically always seem to end up.

Favorite thing about NEPA? The mountains

Favorite food? Scallops. The bigger the better.

All-time favorite movies? “Goodfellas” and “Grown Ups.” And when I was growing up, I loved horror movies and the “Chucky” series.

Favorite TV show? I’m a Bravo TV fanatic. I watch all of the “Real Housewives” and “Shahs of Sunset” and “Millionaire Matchmaker.” If I’m not watching the news, it’s Bravo TV. And I can watch old episodes of “Cops” all day.

Favorite holiday? Halloween. And the Fourth of July is a close second.

Pets? I have a cat named Stanley and a Chihuahua named Matilda. And I have a Cane Corso named Blue.

Favorite quote or catchphrase? “Actions speak louder than words” and “Die with memories, not dreams.”

Guilty pleasure? Ice cream and cotton candy.

What might surprise people about you? I’m really sensitive. People think I’m outgoing and really loud, but I’m sensitive. If somebody doesn’t like me, it will hurt my feelings. I’m a little too soft.

Most influential person in your life? There are three women in my life that made me who I am. My mom, Pam. And her mom, my grandmother, Shirley. And my grandmother’s sister, my great aunt, Donna. Those three ladies are my inspiration and my everything. I’m not necessarily like them, per se , but they are my family. They’ve influenced everything that I’ve ever done.
