Inaugural NEPA Green Fair & 5K for Clean Air, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 at the Blakely Recreation Complex in Peckville to promote environmental protection, public health and sustainability in the region. The free, family-friendly event will feature live music, local food, raffle baskets, exhibitors, eco-friendly vendors, workshops, art and more. Proceeds from the event will support Citizens for A Healthy Jessup and Friends of Lackawanna. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m. and will take participants along the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trial. Fine Arts Fiesta, will take place May 17 through 20 on Public Square in downtown Wilkes-Barre. Fiesta 2018 is currently accepting applications for it Artist’s Market.
