The Mohegan Sun Arena has announced that Christian music icons Newsboys will perform at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Wilkes-Barre Township venue, 255 Highland Park Blvd.

The band’s current tour, Newsboys United, brings together current members Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein and Jody Davis and former bandmates Peter Fuller and Phil Joel. During the spring leg of their tour, the supergroup has worshipped with more than 100,000 people.

In a three-decade career, the Newsboys lineups have produced such classic hits as “Wherever We Go,” “Shine” and “Born Again” as well as signature songs “We Believe,” “He Reigns” and “God’s Not Dead,” which inspired the popular Christian film franchise of the same name.

Tickets for the Newsboys United Tour start at $25 and are on sale now through the arena box office and online at ticketmaster.com.
