Bare: a Pop Opera, presented by Act Out Theatre Group. The show follows a group of Catholic boarding school students as they struggle with issues of identity, sexuality and their futures. 8 p.m. June 8, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. June 9 and 2 p.m. June 10, at 150 East Grove St., Dunmore. Nunsense, Dan Goggin’s now classic musical about the Little Sisters of Hoboken, will be staged June 16 through July 1 at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, 196 Hughes St., Swoyersville. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 3 p.m. Sundays with dinner served 90 minutes before curtain. $35 for dinner and the show; $25 for children 12 and younger; $18 for show-only tickets; $14 for students and military.
