Former Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles to perform at F.M. Kirby Center
Country superstar Jennifer Nettles will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre, on her “Christmas with Jennifer Nettles” tour.
Before starting her solo career, Nettles was known as the lead singer of popular country band Sugarland.
Nettles has won five awards for her songwriting from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), including one for her No. 1 platinum hit “Stay,” which also won a Grammy as well as Academy of Country Music (ACM) and Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. Nettles was the first female artist to be the solo songwriter on an ACM Song of the Year since 1972.
Ticket prices vary and range from $39.50 to $99 (for limited gold circle seating), plus fees. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. July 21. A Kirby member pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. July 19.
