Brewsterhout Rooftop Party. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. The ninth annual fundraiser for the Osterhout Free Library will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 4 on the library roof at 47 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre. Jam Stampede. Tickets cost $12 in advance. In celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, Jam Stampede will perform the music of the Grateful Dead starting at 10 p.m. Aug. 4 at the River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 N. River Street, Plains Township. 900 Marketplace. Admission is free for this event. Dozens of crafters and artists will display their handcrafted wares from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 at 900 Rutter Ave., Forty Fort. The event also features vintage items, food vendors and the live music of Katie Kelly & The Charming Beards, Ber Lynn, Tori Viccicia and more.
