    Funny Girl, the classic story of Fanny Brice’s rise to stardom from vaudeville, presented by the Nuremberg Community Players at their theater home, 283 Hazle St., Nuremberg. 7 p.m. Aug. 3, 4 and 5; 3 p.m. Aug. 6. $15. Reserve by calling 877-718-7894.

    Gypsy, the timeless story of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous Burlesque Striptease artist, based loosely on her memoirs. At the Pheonix Performing Arts Centre, 409 Main St., Duryea.
