STROUDSBURG — Wanna do the Time Warp again?

You’ll find singing and dancing – including that famous number – plus a Halloween atmosphere at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg when the “Rocky Horor Picture Show” returns at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

The original cult classic will be shown on the theater’s projection screen while a cast from Sweet Translucent Dreams acts the story out live on stage.

Audience participation is encouraged. Water guns, playing cards, rice, toast and other traditional props are more than welcome.

Selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant,” the film gained notoriety as a midnight movie when audiences began participating with the film in theaters. The film has entered the pop culture lexicon for its many iconic and memorable scenes, including the song “The Time Warp” which has been covered by handfuls of artists and the often quoted phrase, “Dammit, Janet.”
