Haiti relief in fashion

The look is consistent, with all shirts having a ribbed polo collar, two-button placket, ribbed armbands and an uneven vented hem. And as most Ralph Lauren polo shirts, they are made of 100 percent cotton.

In addition to the polo shirts, ralphlauren.com is also selling a “Fashion for Haiti” tee in which 100 percent of the proceeds go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Created by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, this tee is made of 100 percent Pima cotton. It reads, “To Haiti with Love” on the chest and has a strategically placed map of the nation which symbolizes Haiti. Under this type is “Hope Help Heal Haiti,” and on the left sleeve it reads, “Fashion for Haiti.” This shirt, which is also available for women, can be purchased on ralphlauren.com or rugby.com. It comes in size 1 (small), 2 (medium) and 3 (large). The difference between the men’s and women’s shirt is simply the way the women’s is cut, which fits a little bit more contour to the body. Both shirts are $25.
