Funky clutches worth holding on to

Sure, we all invest in purses in order to make sure we have one to match every outfit but sometimes investing in an accessory that limits you is worth the limitations. We need the basic blacks, browns, whites, reds, etc., and we definitely don’t need an impractical handbag that can only fit our driver’s license and possibly a cell phone, if we’re lucky. Furthermore, we certainly don’t need a handbag with a lot of designs or loud embellishments. To hell with practicality, you only live once.

Clutches, used specifically for formal wear or anytime you go out for the evening, is an accessory that won’t carry much but will certainly carry the bare essentials. Since it is not the item you use for daily use or work purposes, why not have some fun with it? You can choose a clutch with bright colors, big embellishments such as flowers or faux jewels, or lots and lots of beads. Loud clutches are especially useful for those who don’t invest in a lot of costume jewelry. The clutch can serve, in a sense, as an extended piece of jewelry, a way to simply decorate an outfit. It allows you to be creative, and some clutches are so over the top, they look like little pieces of art while tucked under your arm.
