Mr. and Mrs. Steven Grell, Arvada, Colo., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Michaela Martinez, to Jared John Schuler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reynold C. Schuler, Laflin.
The bride-to-be is also the daughter of Ernie Martinez, Denver, Colo. She is the granddaughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Martinez and the late Eugene Dolly and Margaret Pederson.
Michaela graduated from Red Rocks Community College in 2004 with and Associate in Applied Science degree in computer information systems. She will receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from Regis University this summer. Michaela will continue her education by completing a master’s degree in communication from Regis University.
Jared is a graduate of Wyoming Area High School and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in information sciences and technology from the Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2003. Jared is employed as a software engineer for VMware, Broomfield, Colo.
The couple plans to marry in a late spring ceremony at The Pines in Genesee, Colo.
