John and Carol Oliver, Dallas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Leigh, to Daniel Thomas Munn.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Celia Ripa, Plymouth; the late Charles E. Ripa Jr.; and the late Jack and Priscilla Oliver.
Daniel is the son of Herbert and Jane Munn, Ambler, and Sea Isle City, N.J. He is the grandson of the late George and Ruth Dorsey; Dorothy Munn, Philadelphia; and the late Herbert Munn.
Joanna is a 2001 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and a graduate of West Chester University, where she majored in communications. She is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Rowan University, New Jersey.
Daniel is a 1994 graduate of Wissahickon High School and a graduate of Penn State University, where he majored in history. He is a trainer for the American Association of Snowboard Instructors and is an assistant manager of Ocean Drive Restaurant and Bar, Sea Isle City, N.J.
