Courtenay Serafini and Paul McDonough Jr., along with their families, are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Courtenay is the daughter of James and Mary Lou Serafini, Wilkes-Barre.
She is a 2000 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and a graduate of Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing at Misericordia University. Courtenay is a registered nurse at Manor Care, Kingston.
Paul is the son of Paul and Lynn McDonough, Wilkes-Barre.
He is a 2002 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and a graduate of King’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Northeast Counseling Services as an intensive case manager.
The couple was engaged in July, 2009, and will exchange vows on July 31 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre.
