Karen M. Kaleta and Stephen P. Alessi, together with their parents, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Deborah Kaleta, Trucksville.
The prospective groom is the son of Gabriel and Stephanie Alessi, Nescopeck.
Karen is a graduate of Dallas High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Penn State University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Wilkes University. She is employed at Wilkes University as the assistant director of the MBA program.
Stephen is a graduate of Columbia County Christian School in Bloomsburg and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Geneva College. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Wilkes University.
He is employed as a sales representative for the Sherwin Williams Company.
The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 23 in Shavertown.
