Stephanie Marie Elgonitis and Robert Riemensnyder, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leonard and Marlene Elgonitis, Miners Mills. She is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Mary Elgonitis and the late Theresa Lujack.
The prospective groom is the son of Robert F. and Laralee Riemensnyder, Wilkes-Barre. He is the grandson of the late Robert A. and Ethel Riemensnyder and the late Stanley and Sara Witkowski.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Coughlin High School and Wilkes-Barre Area Vo-Tech Cosmetology program. She has been certified in cosmetology in the State of Pennsylvania since 2002. She is employed as a sales associate for Sally Beauty Supply.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Coughlin High School and a 2004 graduate of King’s College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. He is employed by Wal-Mart.
The couple will exchange vows Oct. 9 at A Touch of Class in Wilkes-Barre.
