Mary Elizabeth Plytage and Samuel Joseph Alberola, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Albert Plytage, West Nanticoke, and Katherine Malek, Gulfport, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Albert and Mary Plytage, Plymouth, and Francis and Mary Malek, Hanover Township.
The prospective groom is the son of Annmarie Alberola, Hunlock Creek. He is the grandson of the late Samuel and Tessie Alberola, Hunlock Creek.
Mary Beth is a 2003 graduate of Nanticoke Area High School. She attended Bloomsburg University, where she earned a degree in medical imaging. Mary Beth works as a radiologic technologist at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Samuel is a 2001 graduate of Nanticoke Area High School. Samuel works at Cornell Iron Works, Mountain Top.
The couple will exchange vows on May 19, 2012, at Exhaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Hanover Township.
