Why Hillary makes me cry…

Rachel A. Pugh  by Rachel A. Pugh
In pain. I can’t stand it. I realize Obama and Hillary are at each other’s throats, but now the plot continues to thicken: the fight for Pennsylvania. If I have to see the commercial of Hillary frolicking in “Tunkhannock, PA” — if that’s where the shots were really taken — one more time, I just might have to move to Europe. I get it; she’s attempting to play on people’s heart strings and convince the public she’s connected to our community. What I don’t get is that people will fall for it. Hillary, what have you done for Tunkhannock recently? How many times have you summered there since 1960? Name some residents of the Lake Winola community. Explain to me where Glen Lyon is.

Candidates: Tell me what you’re going to do, when you’re going to do it, and how. I don’t belong to your flock of sheep. Telling me “you’ll bring jobs to NEPA” doesn’t convince me. Telling me “I plan on bringing troops home” doesn’t convince me. Telling me you “piled in the car” each summer to visit your grandpa in Pennsylvania does not convince me.

What? When? How?

I don’t currently know whom I will vote for, but I know one thing is for sure. No baby picture will determine it.
