It was recently announced that the Joan Osborne Acoustic Duo will play a set come April 9 at 7:30 p.m. A multi-platinum-selling recording artist, Osborne will be joined by bandmate Keith Cotton for the performance.
General admission tickets cost just $34.50 and go on sale Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. A special Kirby Member Pre-Sale begins today at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, charge by phone at 570.826.1100, and online at kirbycenter.org.

On May 7, Seether with guests Black Stone Cherry and Skindred will come to the theater. Tickets for the show go on sale Feb. 7 at noon and can be purchased via ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800.745.3000, at all Ticketmaster retail locations and at the Sherman Theater Box Office. Tickets are $25 in advance and $28 the day of the show. There are also $30 VIP and balcony tickets available.
On May 13, a show featuring Black Label Society with special guests to be announced will take place as part of Revolver Magazine’s “Golden Gods” Tour.

…can students in grades four through 12 take a free Musical Theater/Audition Masterclass?
The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple’s Creative and Performing ArtsAcademy SummerStage Program is hosting such an event on Feb. 22 at 2 p.m.
The event will take place with Bill Mutimer as Stage Director, Tina Sohns Williams as choreographer, and Sheri Melcher as Musical Director.
Interested students are asked to come prepared with a short monologue and a 32-bar audition song of their choice; however, space is available for students to observe the process as well. They will then have the opportunity to perform for and receive feedback from Mutimer, Williams, and Melcher.
