The Great Party
Scranton, Pa.
Sounds like: American pop meets rock — catchy lyrics and an upbeat synth-filled sound seasoned with hints of Blondie, Blur, and Gorillaz.
Fun fact: Both of their music videos, “Teresa” and “Hecho En Mexico,” were directed by Zac Stuart-Pontier, who has worked on commercials and music videos for Citibank, Reebok, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and The Shins.

Patch Kit
Manchester, Conn.
Sounds like: This emo quartet has a sound on the verge of being soft punk; catchy riffs and relatable lyrics make their songs perfect for the nights that you're hanging out in your room. It's definitely for those who like Rainer Maria, S (Jenn Ghetto), and Kind of Like Spitting.
Fun fact: They all love John Mulaney and certain anagrams.

Buffalo, N.Y.
Sounds like: A blended mixture of Archers of Loaf and The Weakerthans creates their indie rock sound.
Fun fact: There are two bands named Lemuria – the other is a black metal band from Belgium. The two bands have a very amicable relationship with e-mails that involve emoji characters. When they played in Belgium a couple of years ago, members of the other Lemuria came to our show.
