“The Bronco was the forerunner to all the SUVs we have today,” Meade says of the Bronco, which was created to compete against Jeeps and International Scouts and was successful. “I like owning a piece of automotive history.
“It was rusted out pretty bad and was this horrible orange color when I picked it up about a dozen years ago. I had it restored, repainted and try to keep it all looking brand new. It’s not as smooth as riding in a car, but it is great to drive around in it and get the thumbs up and honks from people.”
