WILKES-BARRE — Alexis P. Suter Ministers of Sound will celebrate the release of their recently recorded record “Live From Briggs Farm Blues Festival” with an event at F.M. Kirby Center.

In July, Suter and her ministers teamed up with Briggs Farm Blues Records to release a live CD featuring songs from their set performed earlier this year at the annual Nescopeck music festival. It’s the second release on the label.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. March 31 event go on sale 10 a.m. Dec. 16, at the 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre venue’s box office. Interested music fans can also purchase tickets by calling 570-826-1100 or visiting KirbyCenter.org. There will be a special pre-sale for F.M. Kirby Center Members starting 10 a.m. Dec. 14.

Suter will be joined by guests Dustin Douglas & the Electric Gentlemen for the event, which is part of the F.M. Kirby Center’s ongoing Live from the Chandelier Lobby series.
