Marywood University presents Harper Lee’s “To Kill A Mockingbird” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 8 at Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton. The Rock Show. $7 at the door. A benefit concert for WNEP’s Ryan’s Run takes place from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. Oct. 9 at Kildare’s Irish Pub, 119 Jefferson Ave., Scranton. For the price of admission, patrons are treated to live performances by Dashboard Mary, Jackson Vee, Pink Slip and Destination West and more, including a reunion show by SIMON SEZ. Wake Up with the Arts Breakfast. Free and open to the public. The eighth annual Wake Up with the Arts Breakfast takes place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Oct. 7 in the Platform Lounge of the Radisson Hotel, 700 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton. The event features photographer and writer Matthew Christopher who has documented and lectured on America’s forgotten spaces. Mystery Science Theater — Scranton Style. Free. As part of Bonfire Week, which culminates in the Bonfire Festival at the Iron Furnaces, Mystery Science Theater takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at Adezzo, 515 Center St., Scranton. Join Conor McGuigan & Mike Gavern on a tour through the catalogue of B-movie horror. Participants can try Adezzo’s special S’mores latte that will be featured that week.
