WILKES-BARRE — On Aug. 22, Queens-based band Bayside will play a special set at Gallery of Sound’s Mundy Street location in support of their new album “Vacancy,” out Aug. 19.

Patrons who purchase the album on CD or transparent yellow vinyl LP will receive a wristband for priority entry into the event; after customers with wristbands are allowed inside, the store will open to others until full. Pre-orders can be placed online at GalleryofSound.com (in-store pickup only), at Gallery of Sound, 186 Mundy St., Wilkes-Barre or at the store’s Dickson City and Hazleton locations.

“Vacancy” is the seventh studio album from Bayside and includes the singles “Pretty Vacant” and “Enemy Lines.” The band is currently on tour with Scranton’s The Menzingers and Hartford, Connecticut’s Sorority Noise.
