PLAINS TOWNSHIP — Curly Creme has opened, and the crowds are flocking for a taste of summer.
Curly Creme at 244 S. River St. in Plains Township was a hub of activity Wednesday night as customers waited for a frozen treat.
The ice cream stand opened for the season during the last week of May. Curly Creme will be open from noon to 10 p.m. daily until mid-September.
Its weekly specials throughout the summer are:
• June 3 to 9, peach
• June 10 to 16, peanut butter
• June 17 to 23, lemon
• June 24 to 30, tangerine
• July 1 to 7, blueberry
• July 8 to 14, peach
• July 15 to 21, peanut butter
• July 22 to 28, banana
• July 29 to Aug. 4, mint
• Aug. 5 to 11, coffee
• Aug. 12 to 18 tangerine
• Aug. 19 to 25, butter pecan
• Aug. 26 to Sept. 1, blue raspberry
• Sept. 2 to 9, peanut butter
