Friends of the Osterhout Free Library to open book shop at downtown Wilkes-Barre Osterhout location
WILKES-BARRE—The Friends of the Osterhout Free Library will hold the grand opening of their new book shop at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23. The shop, which will be located on the newly-renovated third floor of Osterhout’s downtown Wilkes-Barre location, will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
According to the library, hundreds of new Penguin Putnam books and gently used books will be for sale at prices as low as $1.
Volunteers are needed for the new book shop. Interested parties can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for open times and a description of duties.
