WBRE-TV’s Jasmine Brooks to help crown Man and Model of the Year
WBRE-TV anchor, Jasmine Brooks, will help judge the Weekender’s 2015 Man and Model of the Year Party. More than 100 local models are eligible for the title.
Brooks said she’s looking forward to being part of the event — especially since it’s a costume party. Attendees are encouraged to start celebrating Halloween a week early by dressing in costume. Prizes, including a pair of tickets to see Kevin Hart on Dec. 30 at Mohegan Sun Arena, will be given to the best costumes in various categories, including funniest, scariest, and best overall.
The big prize of the night, of course, will be Man and Model of the Year. Winners will be selected by advanced live voting online at www.theweekender.com and judges scores after a Q&A with the final six contenders.
Judging alongside Brooks will be Angie Morgan, owner of Sapphire Salon & Spa; Deborah Desiderio, from Barbizon Modeling and Acting School; Gerard Durling, from Coal Creative; Lauren Maga, from R Bar; and Melissa Hughes, who writes “Girl Talk” in Weekender.
The party starts at 7 p.m. There will be a cash bar, candy bar, and DJ. Oh, and the event is free to attend.
