Northeast Regional Cancer Institute to hold color vote for CASUAL Day 2016 at Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Moosic on Oct. 22
MOOSIC—The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute will hold a voting event at Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Moosic on Thursday, Oct. 22 to decide the t-shirt color for March 31, 2016’s CASUAL (Colon cancer Awareness Saves Unlimited Adult Lives) Day.
2016 marks the 13th Annual CASUAL Day, an event meant to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and emphasize the importance of early detection. The t-shirt color for last year’s CASUAL Day was red.
Oct. 22’s event lasts from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Primary t-shirt color voting will take place at 5:45 p.m., followed by a final vote at 6:10 p.m.
In addition to voting, prizes will also be awarded at the event for oldest CASUAL Day t-shirt, best customized CASUAL Day t-shirt, most attendees from the same organization, most worn out CASUAL Day t-shirt and most number of CASUAL Day t-shirts.
