    Dear Melissa,

My best friend started dating a guy. She seems really happy but has dropped all of her friends to be with him. We all feel abandoned and know when things eventually end that she’ll come back to us like the abandonment never happened. How do we get her back now?

    Party of One

    Dear party of one,

Sounds like your friend is in her happy relationship bubble. It is a stage that most new couples go through while they are learning all about each other. They can’t get enough of that other person and want to spend every moment with them. It happens to the best of us. My advice is to celebrate your friend’s happiness and try to include him in your plans too. Once they get some bubble intrusion, it might be easier to plan that girls night out. Don’t be salty if she comes back to the circle once things don’t work out. She’s just trying to figure her love life out and needs her friends behind her for support.
