    Dear Melissa,

I think my boyfriend is cheating on me. He has been acting very distant and our sex life has gone down the drain. While I used to see or talk to him daily, lately it seems like he is giving me just one-worded answers or no response at all. He no longer flirts or makes me feel special yet he is always on his phone. How do I confront him?

    Suspicious

    Dear Suspicious,

My best advice is to not go in with accusations; there might be an underlying issue that you don’t know about. Let him know that you have noticed a change and ask if there is something he wants to talk about. Let him know how you feel and how his actions are affecting you. While it is possible that the relationship may have just run its course, it may also be possible that he has something else going on in his life that has been causing the distraction. Jumping to the cheating conclusion is never your best bet. Ask yourself if you yourself have also been trying like you used to or if maybe the honeymoon phase is just fizzling out. Take a deep breath and go into the conversation clear and open minded. You got this girl!
