YOU HAD ME AT BLEU CHEESECAKE

Really Cooking Caf� & Supper Club (31 Route 309, Dallas) will host Gregory’s Dinner Theatre Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The evening includes a 4-course dinner, musical entertainment and recipe cards for the event’s menu, which will be presented cooking-show style. The sommelier will be Kelly Briggs, who will suggest wine parings.

Dinner starts with Act I: bleu cheesecake with walnuts. Act II features grilled romaine heart with goat cheese, toasted pine nuts, strawberries and a balsamic reduction. Act III will have Italian meatloaf with Italian sausage, prosciutto and asiago cheese, parmesan potato souffl� and spinach and escarole saut�. The finale is amaretto fruit trifle.

NOTHING SAYS HOLIDAY LIKE FOOD

Chef Kate Gabriele, chef/host of “Cooking with Kate” at Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar inside Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, will conduct three holiday-themed cooking classes at Lackawanna College. The classes will be held in the college’s kitchen in the Healey Academic Center at 415 N. Washington Ave., Scranton.

Gabriele, a Mountain Top native, will offer Holiday Cooking 101 Monday, Nov. 16 and Tuesday, Nov. 17. She’ll simplify holiday cooking for crowds with creative side dishes, entrees and decorating tips. Cost is $50 per person.

Gingerbread House Workshop follows on Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 23-24, which will allow attendees to bring out their inner child to create their own gingerbread houses. Apple cider and cookies will be served during the class. Cost is $50 per family with a maximum of four people.

The final class in the series, Holiday Baking 101: Breads and Sweets, will be held Monday, Nov. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 1. Students will make challah bread, biscotti and scones. Cost is $50.
