In September, Central Pennsylvania band Panacea will release an 8-song EP, “Bare Bones,” as well as a video for “We The Broken,” the title track from the band’s 2009 album.
On Sunday, Aug. 29, Panacea, in conjunction with Studio D in Philadelphia, will conduct a live streaming event that will give fans a close-up look into the creation of the band’s promotional materials. The afternoon session will start with a photo shoot for new band pictures and end with the filming of a video for “Don’t Walk Away,” a new song to be included on “Bare Bones.” Fans can ask questions via Facebook or e-mail, and band members will answer between activities. Check Facebook.com/PanaceaRock and Facebook.com/StudioDPhoto next week for more details.
On Sunday, Sept. 5, Weekender Music Columnist Alan K. Stout will feature the band on 102.3 FM The Mountain’s “Music On The Menu Live” at 8 p.m., the same time the band is scheduled to perform at Scranton Hardware Bar (519 Linden St.) as part of the Steamtown Original Music Showcase. On Wednesday, Sept. 8, Panacea will perform at The Woodlands (1073 Route 315, Plains Twp.) at the Weekender/Mountaingrown Original Music Series, which is broadcast live on The Mountain.
