Megadeth and Rob Zombie are embarking on a joint headlining tour, one that hits Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain (1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton) Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m. Lacuna Coil will open.
The tour comes on the heels of Megadeth’s Gigantour festival. The metal band fronted by Dave Mustaine released its 13th album, the aptly titled “Th1rt3en,” in November. Zombie, who toured last summer with Slayer, spent the fall and winter shooting his sixth film, “The Lords of Salem,” which he’s making with the producers of “Paranormal Activity.”
Tickets for the Scranton show are $44-$65.50 and go on sale Saturday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. via LiveNation.com or the venue box office.
