IN THE FLESH?

Former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters has been rehearsing at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Twp. for his “The Wall Live” tour, several sources with direct knowledge of the situation have told the Weekender on the condition of anonymity.

The tour is set to kick off Sept. 15 in Toronto. There have been no reports of a possible show at Mohegan Sun Arena. Artists like AC/DC and Simon and Garfunkel have used the arena as a rehearsal space, as well as a tour starting point. Recently, Adam Lambert used the F.M. Kirby Center to prepare for a tour as well as kick off the tour.

Last month, Waters and Pink Floyd guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour played four songs together at the Hoping Foundation Benefit Evening in Oxfordshire, England, marking the first time the two had played together since Live 8 in 2005.

Waters, via a Facebook post, recently said that Gilmour will join him for the song “Comfortably Numb” at at least one show on the upcoming tour.
