HARDWARE BAR COMING TO SCRANTON

The operators of Tink's Entertainment Complex announced Monday that Tink's will become a Hardware Bar, with the grand opening set for New Year's Eve.

The Tink's operators will continue to own the building, they said in a press release. Tink's has been in business for 15 years.

"Our decision was not an easy one," Tink's said in the press release. "We have made so many new friends making it so hard to turn the page on this chapter in our lives. However, the business opportunity presented by the Hardware Bar was impossible to ignore."

Saturday, Dec. 5, was the last night the business was open as Tink's.

Hardware Bar opened in downtown Wilkes-Barre in the spring of 2008. Since then, it has expanded to include the Bourbon Street Saloon and the Reflex dance club. Hardware Bar also has locations in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg and West Chester.
