After previously working for The Times Leader as an intern, Matt Chmielewski became one of the newest members of the Weekender team in September 2009. He graduated from Kings College in 2009 with a BA in English Writing. Having always lived in Wilkes-Barre, Matt can usually be found exploring the region's more extreme sports. If not on a mountain bike trail or in the garage building a new projectile, Matt can be found behind the wheel of a racecar on any of the east coast's famous racetracks.
