A Montage montage

According to an article in Rolling Stone, two more summer concerts are going to touch down at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain this summer: Def Leppard, Poison and Cheap Trick on Sunday, June 28, and REO Speedwagon, Styx and .38 Special on Friday, July 3.

The Def Leppard, Poison and Cheap Trick show goes on sale Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com, 877.598.8696 and the Toyota Pavilion box office (1000 Montage Mountain Rd., Scranton). Reserved tickets are $39.50, $59.50, $85 and $125. Lawn seats are $29.50 (4-packs of lawn seats available for $22.25).

At press time, the only ticket info for the REO Speedwagon, Styx and .38 Special show was found on www.speedwagon.com, which does list the July 3 date as a stop on the tour, and VIP tickets via iloveallaccess.com.

The only other concert listing confirmed for Montage by Live Nation so far is Crue Fest 2, featuring Motley Crue, for Friday, Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. According to LiveNation.com, tickets go on sale on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $29.50-$95 in advance or $31.50-$97 day of show. (Bundle and VIP tickets also available.)

As previously reported by the Weekender, Toyota Pavilion will host the Vans Warped Tour on July 16, the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Tour featuring headliners Marilyn Manson and Slayer on July 29 and Dave Matthews Band on Sept. 19. Ticket info for those shows — besides a ticket-request period for the DMB show at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com that wraps up Monday, March 2 — is still not available.

Be sure to check back with the Weekender for the latest NEPA summer concert season info.
