We've played The Casbah in Hamilton before. It was awful; we played pretty much to the staff of the venue and the other bands. This time was slightly different - plenty of kids showed up for one of the local bands. Then we played and cleared the room except for three kids who absolutely loved it. That's pretty much all that needs to be said about that.
