An Albatross

Toronto has always been one of my favorite cities. It's a vibrant, smart,
creative town full of great people and is the home to many of our best
friends.

It also has really great hot dog vendors on the street that serve veggie
dogs, and we have been thinking about them for days now. As soon as we load
into the club, we hit the hot dog stands and nearly put them out of
business. Canada also features places called The Beer Store, a bizarre place
where you pick from beer labels -- just the labels -- and then they wheel
your cases out on a conveyor belt.

Between the veggie dog vendors and The Beer Store, we are pretty happy and
content.

This weekend Toronto has come alive for Nuit Blanche, a huge arts festival
right in the downtown that lasts a full 24 hours. The streets are packed
with people, and it seems like it will be a great night, but attendance is
only so-so; turns out it makes a lot more sense to go downtown for free art
instead of paying for it, so the club is not as full as it has been for us
in the past.

But it's all OK.

As we travel to our friend Mark's house to stay for the night, we remember
one thing: we're among friends here.

Friends and lots of hot dogs.
