Actor: Katelyn Sincavage

Age: 14

Hometown: Shavertown

Character: Dorothy, from “The Wizard of Oz,” put on by Theatre at the Grove from March 21 through April 13.

THE WEEKENDER: Describe your character.

KATELYN SINCAVAGE: Dorothy Gale is a sweet and confident young girl with a heart of gold.

W: Do you believe you share any of the same qualities as your character?

KS: We are both kind to others.

W: What is your favorite line in the show?

KS: “Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

W: What is your favorite scene of the show?

KS: There are so many good scenes. However, I would pick Munchkinland and meeting each friend that joins Dorothy on her way.

W: If your character was a real person and you could hang out with her for a day, where would you go and what would you do?

KS: If Dorothy was real, we would probably sing and dance all day and I would let her choose where she wanted to go.

W: If you could take three people with you on the journey down the Yellow Brick Road, who would you choose and why?

KS: I would take three of my friends from school because we always have a great time together.
