…just performed at the Grammy Awards? A guy who is making his way to Wilkes-Barre in June.

Grammy award-winning musician John Legend will perform at the F.M. Kirby Center June 5 at 8 p.m. It will be an intimate acoustic concert, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment and a string quartet.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Kirby Center Box Office, kirbycenter.org, or by phone at 570.826.1100. A special Kirby Member Pre-Sale begins today at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices are $62, $82, and $128 limited pit seating.

…is local zombie fest Infect Scranton up to this year?

The organization plans to host an “overnight immersive horror camping experience” and have started raising funds at indiegogo.com/projects/gore-camp.

The new home base for “Gore Camp” is the grounds on which Reaper’s Revenge in Montdale take place, and they’re looking to take advantage of the more than 60 acres.

The camp will last for 12 hours, and campers will find themselves “facing unknown evils and nightmares beyond their worst imaginations.” Campers will be sent into the darkness to participate in various challenges, which may include rituals, a blood bath, and avoiding kidnappings.

No one under the age of 18 will be admitted for this July 11 event. Ticket prices include sleeping accommodations for one, a meal and beverage, live entertainment, a bonfire, t-shirt, and continental breakfast, among other things. Tickets are limited to 400 for the night.
