DIY Jelly fish costume

Ever thought about being a creature from the sea but just couldn’t find the perfect costume?
Then make your own. Here’s how to make your own light-up jellyfish costume.
Purchase a clear umbrella, this will be the most expensive part of the costume, but is the main attraction, so go ahead and splurge.
Buy some sheer, shiny cloth from a fabric store (Joann’s Fabric and Walmart have some pretty good deals going on right now) to cover the umbrella. Attach some silvery ribbon and strips of leftover material to create the tentacles of the jelly fish.
To light this floater up, purchase several battery-operated lights with clips. ($2 for two lights) and attach to the underside of the umbrella.
EL wire string lights can be purchased for additional glow around the body of the jelly fish or used as more tentacles.
The wire can be purchased online in various colors and lengths.
Wear complementing colors and grab on to the umbrella — er — jelly fish and happy trick or treating.
