Makeup Rules: The Real King Bob

One thing I hate about going out right after work is not having that extra extended time to freshen up and fix my hair or in most people’s cases clean up and reapply makeup.
Working under florescent lighting and in central air can make your skin look dull and drab, it also has the ability to make you have the worst dark circles ever.
Here are some quick tricks to lighten and brighten you up for those on the go moments.
Get rid of dark circles, not by covering them up with heavy, cakey concealer but by distracting them with a brighter cheek highlight.
Take any cream highlighter product and apply it on your upper portion of your cheekbone in an upward and outward motion stopping before you pass the outer corner of the eye (avoid going too close to the outer corner will almost make your eyes look smaller and closer together) pat continuously with your ring finger to soften and to blend out the product. Finish with your powder to set the highlight.
Another quick fix to remove excess oil after a long day at work would be to carry oil absorbing blotting sheets, most of these are formulated to not disturb your makeup.
Keep a flesh tone eye pencil in your bag for touchups on breakouts and blemishes, highlight your cupids bow for fuller lips and to line your water line for a bright well rested eye.
