Weekender is feeling ultra-sentimental as our 21st birthday party is about to take over Stir Nightclub and Bar in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, Nov. 21. Since Weekender has dominated forward-thing print media since 1993, we decided to celebrate in true nostalgic style by throwing a ’90s party. The event will kick off with a beer pong tournament starting at 9 p.m. with sign-ups beginning at 8 p.m. The Girls of NEPA will be there cheering on the participants who will be competing for a trophy. As if that isn’t enough, prizes will be awarded at 10 p.m. to the winners of our Zack Morris and Britney Spears Look-A-Like winners (That’s right, we’re having a Zack Morris and Britney Spears look-a-like contest, so come dressed up!). Did we mention we will also be having an ice luge?

While we await the big bash, Weekender is reliving some of the best moments from the last decade where parents remember letting their kids run around and play outside without fearing an Amber Alert would put on them before dinner and kids remember calling their friends on the phone without it being considered socially awkward.
